SenioRx
Our SenioRx program assists seniors in obtaining prescription medications and nutritional supplements at virtually no cost to our clients. To be eligible for this program, each person must be 55 or older, have a chronic medical condition and can meet certain income guidelines. Additionally, a person of any age can qualify for SenioRx if they are in the 48-month waiting period to draw disability. It should be understood that even though Medicare Part D is now available, seniors can take advantage of this program when they fall into their gap in coverage also referred to as the “doughnut hole.”

Throughout each fiscal year, our staff visits with pharmacies, attend health fairs, meet with insurance officials and spend a good deal of time in communities across the county in an effort to educate the general public about the benefits of enrolling in our SenioRx program. |
